Prong Setting for Cabochon Pendant

Teacher: Richard Meszler
Date: October 6 and 7, 2018, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Level: Beginner/Intermediate

*** Please note this is a two day class ***

Expand your ability to create unique settings for your cabochons.

In this class you will learn to make a sterling silver prong setting for a cabochon pendant, using a relatively simple setup & soldering method. We will be using a 22 x 30 mm. or smaller oval cabochon, which is included in the materials fee. There should be time to do a second setting, so participants are encouraged to bring their own cabochons of any shape, as long as they are 22 x 30 mm. or smaller. Some soldering experience is necessary.

You are strongly encouraged to bring an Optivisor, or some other form of magnification.
